The baby and mom side by side converse shot! 🥹 so sweet. It DOES get easier the more they travel! My kids are pros now :) And you and SOGOLE!! Substack IRL makes me so happy!
Gjusta! Just reading the name is making me salivate. That spot is such a gem. And I’m so glad you went to Colossus and Gusto!!! This entire recap is incredible, the photos are beautiful, and I especially appreciated your lessons shared at the end. Can never have too many snacks!!! Come back soon 🌴 🫶🏼
Your trip looked absolutely beautiful! Lowering expectations while traveling with a toddler in tow has been a tough pill for me to swallow, but everything truly does get "easier" once all preconceived notions of how things will go disappear. We took our toddler to the Hamptons a month or so ago – I had visions of us at wine tastings, taking gorgeous photos on the beach, eating our way through the different neighborhoods...let's just say, things did not go that way 😅 Thank you for keeping it real!
Good inspo to get out to Catalina. Haven’t been since a 7th grade field trip and it’s time! Also glad to know I’m not the only one who loves by the stroller nap on a trip.
Loved this and as a fellow toddler mom, laughed out loud more than once. Amen to a suitcase full of mix and match things that all work together and double amen to the ipad for the airplane!!
I’m originally from Huntington Beach and grew up going to Catalina Island for childhood best friends birthday multiple years in a row. Isn’t it great?!??
Loved hearing about your trip, thanks for sharing all your travel tips and tricks ♥️
Those photos are precious! Me and my friends call holidays these days ‘parenting in a different location’ 😂
I call it "away game parenting"!
