issue #90: one year of mom friend

I would say “hi from sunny California”, except I’m writing this before I get there and therefore do not know if it will be sunny when this goes out. Fingers crossed.

It never ceases to amaze me how fast a year can fly by, while also passing so slow. On the one hand, it feels like I’ve hardly done anything at all, yet on the other….a lot has changed.
