issue #100: 15 (shoppable) things that have brought be joy this summer
because shopping can be joyful, too
Last week, if you’ll recall, I sent out a list of 15 non-shoppable things that have brought me joy this summer, because, believe it or not, most joy does not come from shopping!! Some does, though, and as we are facing down bleak times, I do tend to find comfort in retail therapy. And I know I should be saving and probably keeping a pile of cash somewhere handy and thinking about the future, but the future doesn’t feel so certain right now, and you can’t take it with you when you die, so why not have a little fun in the meantime, right? Right?!
Obviously, I’m half joking. It’s important to be thinking about and planning for the future, it’s important to save money, and it’s important to be optimistic for what the world holds for us. But it’s also important to feel good, and for some of us, shopping can just feel good.
So here’s a list of things that have brought me joy this summer that are, in fact, shoppable. Enjoy!

I really appreciate that your recs are reasonably priced! There is nothing worse than clicking on a link for something and seeing that it is $3,000!
How are you sizing that sweatshirt and what colors are you doing?
